4 Alchemical Guilds for Your D&D World

Brothers and Sisters,

My mind is still boiling over with alchemy-themed ideas ever since my "8 Reasons Alchemy Labs Are The Deadliest Locations in D&D" post went up. To scratch the itch, I brainstormed this list of 1d4 alchemical guilds to add to your D&D world!

Let us pray.

I. THE ALCHEMISTS OF THIS GUILD...

1;1 {Sions of the Wyrm} Worship dragons as the first masters of alchemy who could transmute reality with a flap of their wings or an exhale of their breath, making them the unquestionable rulers of the heavens whom all aspiring alchemists should study under.

1;2 {Galacticus Excavatus} Operate secret mining facilities on xenos planets {and even other planes of existence such as the lowest pits of Hell} to harvest the rarest or most powerful elements not yet discovered by mortals and process them into tools with which to defend humanity from cosmic threats.

1;3 {Roots of Humanity} Fear the mortal species is ill-prepared to survive a Doomsday and thus is taking the necessary steps to ensure it can regrow from the ashes with the aid of mutated plantlife {considered heretics by many druidic circles for their cruel experiments and willingness to put the future of mortals before that of any other life form}.

1;4 {Still Mothers} Understands the world to be one grand chemical reaction whose ingredients {both literally and metaphorical} must be carefully managed if cataclysms such as volcanic eruptions, typhoons, and ice ages are to be avoided {operate out of secret laboratories hidden in the clouds and deep beneath the earth's crust}.

Hope you enjoyed those ideas! If you want to run an alchemy-themed adventure and support the Church, consider joining the $3/mo Patreon where I recently published a set of alchemical terrain assets and 1d4 laboratory maps!

We say these things in their unholy names, amen.
